Incredible $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for overworld maps, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on classic fantasy realm creation: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.
